The Elandslaagte area boasts a history that dates back to the late 1800’s, where some of the bloodiest battles in history were fought as Zulus, Boers, and British forces clashed over land and sovereignty.

The Battle of Elandslaagte was fought on the Nambiti Conservancy and the original hospital still stands within its boundaries.
